Apple’s next flagship iPhone 12 will be launched this year with iOS 14 loaded but theirs no announcement of the official launch date yet. Kuo’s research note was reported on by AppleInsider, MacRumors, and 9to5Mac.
According to Ming-chi Kuo, Apple may stop supplying chargers and earbuds with iPhone 14 in the box with 2020 models.
Excluding these accessories can be seen as cost-cutting and can invest more in future technology such as 5G, etc Kuo added.
In the past, Apple’s iPhone (All model) models come with all the accessories, EarPods with all iPhones, a 5W USB-A adapter with the 11 and SE, and an 18W USB-C adapter with the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
If everything goes as said by Kuo, 18w adapter life is too short to be lived and it’s no surprise that after so many complaints of slow charging from 5W adapter, 18W adapter was introduced.
Additionally, Apple is working on a new 20W adapter that will charge faster than current adapters, will come with iPad models this year. And you can purchase it separately for your iPhone.
